Featuring a cast of star-studded actors, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring made its big screen debut in 2001. After he wrapped with LOTR, he appeared in films such as National Treasure, The Martial and Pixels. Not only does he feature in movies, but he has also been in some fantastic series such as Game of Thrones as Ned Stark, Snowpiercer and the BBC 6-part series Broken. 

Dominic Monaghan

Dominic Monaghan played Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry), a friend of Frodo and a member of the fellowship of the ring. After LOTR, the German-born actor starred in Lost, followed by several other shows such as 100 Club, Bite Club and Flash Forward. Aside from TV series, he also appeared in more blockbuster movies such as Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Mute. 

Sean Astin

Samwise Gamgee is portrayed by the Goonies actor Sean Astin and will forever be known as Samwise. His role in LOTR is so brilliant that he continued his steady film career with roles in The Freemasons, Extraction and Gloria Bell.
