The NFL Draft landscape can transform overnight, and that seems to be the case with Armand Membou, who barely registered in conversations about the New England Patriots and their No. 4 overall pick.
However, that script may have flipped.
The Missouri offensive tackle had an impressive performance at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine that alerted scouting departments and ignited discussion in draft circles.
Since then, Membou has been the focus of football forums and social media, emerging as a legitimate contender to be a top-five selection, according to NFL insider Matt Miller.
“I think it’s Armand Membou, and we saw him at the Mizzou Pro Day. He didn’t work out, but he is gonna go so much earlier. Do not be surprised if he’s the fourth pick in the draft. If Shedeur Sanders doesn’t go in the top four, Armand Membou could go four to the Patriots. Now that means Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter are gone. But if that happens, if it goes Cam Ward, Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, Armand Membou could be the fourth pick in this draft,” Miller said on “Up & Adams.”
This NFL Draft prospect is not being talked about enough. 👀

Membou’s physical presence (6-foot-4 and 324 pounds) stands out, but what truly sets him apart is his rare athleticism for a man of his size.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.91 seconds, leaving scouts searching through decades of records to find a comparable performance from a similar prospect.
The weight room numbers only added to his mystique, with a 650-pound squat, 375-pound clean and 425-pound bench press that showcased his extraordinary strength.
Yet Membou isn’t just impressing in workouts. His on-field performance speaks volumes.
He did not allow a single sack or quarterback hit in 411 passing snaps last season, which tells the story of a dominant blocker who delivers where it matters most.
As the draft approaches, the debate about the Patriots’ selection will only intensify.
