GT vs SRH Match Highlights: The Gujarat Titans have been a very good-performing side and have outclassed many teams on the forefront. The major contribution has come from their three top-order batters: Sai Sudarshan, the orange cap holder; Shubman Gill, the skipper; and Jos Buttler, the new veteran in the GT lineup.
Gujarat Titans will be having the home advantage as they advance into their home ground at the Narendra Modi Stadium but will be up against the out-of-touch yet most destructive batting order in the history of the IPL, the Sunrisers Hyderabad. SRH might themselves be knocked out of the race for the playoffs but may cause major hindrance to any opposition eyeing their dreadful batting power.

GT vs SRH Match Highlights: GT top-order contribute heavily again to take GT over 200+ total

Not a very wise decision from SRH skipper Pat Cummins, who opted to bowl first after winning the toss. The SRH bowlers have not been the very best in this IPL, and GT batters have relished batting on their surface at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
GT openers Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill smashed runs at the top as they batted their best powerplay score of 85 runs without loss of a wicket. Sudarshan reclaimed the orange cap with a well-made 48 runs, this time striking over 200 with some effortless short-making.
Shubman Gill next took the scoreboard ahead alongside Jos Buttler, who once again stunned with his hitting prowess after being dropped once on 23 by skipper Pat Cummins. Gill’s 76 and Buttler’s 64 helped the Titans take the score above 200. The likes of the last few sixes from Washington Sundar, Shahrukh Khan and Rahul Tewatiya took them to a huge 224 runs.
GT vs SRH Match Highlights: Prasidh Krishna stars again as GT bowlers again find them amidst wickets

Chasing a score above 200 is always a tough nut to crack, but if any team has the slightest of caliber to ace this chase, it’s none other than Sunrisers Hyderabad. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma’s explosive duo once again took the field. They started well in the powerplay before Titans’ most striking bowler, Prasidh Krishna, picked the wicket of Head in his first over in the powerplay.
Gerald Coetzee picked his first wicket of IPL 2025, dismissing Ishan Kishan. Abhishek Sharma, who looked like their only promising batter, was finally sent back by Ishant Sharma in his third over after being hit for runs. The Titans bowlers bounced back with Krishna’s 2 wickets, Siraj’s 2 wickets, and a wicket each for Ishant Sharma and Gerald Coetzee. GT won the match by 38 runs and went back to the second spot on the points table.
