The Boston Celtics cruised past the Utah Jazz on Friday night, earning their fourth win in a row and bringing their season record to 51-19.
As usual, several Boston stars were playing great basketball but it was big man Kristaps Porzingis who did the most.
As noted by Hoop Central, Porzingis put up 27 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and went 9-of-15 from the field, 3-of-5 from the three-point line, and 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.
He did all of this in just 25 minutes.

Celtics fans immediately praised Porzingis online, calling him the best third option in the league and reminding people how powerful the team can be if he stays healthy through the postseason.
Best 3rd option in the league!

Celtics are gonna NEED HIM this year in the playoffs …
Or they have no chance 💀

Porzingis has averaged 19.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this season but has only appeared in 35 games.
The hope is that he has rested enough and is now healthy in time for the playoffs.
The Celtics missed him when he sat out of games during last year’s postseason, but they were still able to claim the title.
The Celts have done a great job resting him this year and getting him ready for the playoffs. Imagine if he’s healthy for whole playoffs. It’s not just about what he brings, it’s also how it makes us deeper. I seriously can’t see anyone beating them 4 in 7. On a different note,…

That time of year when they start to separate from the pack! 🔥

Porzingis brings plenty of upside to the team and has been a great addition since joining them in 2023.
However, injuries have remained a problem for him, and he has only been in 92 games over two seasons.
That’s unfortunate, but fans will forgive all of that if the Celtics have another strong run in the playoffs.
The Celtics are still the second seed in the East, but the Cleveland Cavaliers have now lost four in a row.
They are just five games behind the Cavs and some fans think they could make a run for the top spot, especially if Porzingis continues to play like this.
