Once again, the Philadelphia Eagles are just one win away from the ultimate glory.
They’re back in the Super Bowl for the second time in the past three years.
That’s why, as much as people rave about their running game, star-studded roster, and defense, Drew Brees believes they should also give Jalen Hurts some credit.
Talking to Kay Adams on her “Up & Adams” show, the former Super Bowl winner claimed that people seem to forget Hurts’ journey.
SB Champ @drewbrees on the often under- appreciated Jalen Hurts 🗣️

He praised him for constantly beating the odds and overcoming adversity and criticism, dating back to his days at Alabama when he was benched on national television in favor of Tua Tagovailoa.
Brees praised Hurts’ ability to extend plays with his legs or excel in the pocket, and he also likes his demeanor.
The Hall of Fame quarterback claimed that all the criticism might come from where he plays, adding that he strikes him as a player who likes to fly under the radar.
Hurts has been doubted over and over, and he’s overcome most of the criticism.
Losing another Super Bowl might be a deadly blow to his reputation, as some people still don’t seem to be so sure about his status as an NFL superstar.
Then again, after all he’s been through and what he’s accomplished in his career, it’s safe to say that he’s not going to be bothered by the bright lights or the outside noise.
He’s already been there and played well in the Super Bowl.
Now, it’s time to finish the job.
