The big news coming out of Boston is like Game 2 of the series; it looks as if Celtics star Jayson Tatum will remain out with a severely bruised wrist. They didn’t need him in Game 2, as Jaylen Brown put the team on his shoulders, scoring 36 points to go with 10 rebounds and five assists in a 109-100 victory that saw them lead for a whopping 45:13 out of a possible 48 minutes of the game.

While the Magic put up a solid fight, they simply had no answer for the deeper Celtics team. At 1:25 of the first quarter, Franz Wagner (25 points for the game) sank a bucket that gave the Magic a 21-20 lead, but that would represent the last lead they’d hold in the game. Paolo Banchero led the team with 32 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, with Wendell Carter Jr. adding 16 on a perfect 3-for-3 from the three-point line.
