When Zion Williamson roasts your team with a 360 windmill at the end of the game, you know it’s not your night.
The Phoenix Suns had a chance to tie the game late, but fell victim to Williamson’s impressive display of athleticism, losing to the New Orleans Pelicans 112-111.
The Suns were down by as many as 16 in the second half, but fought their way back behind the play of Devin Booker andKelly Oubre Jr.
Booker finished with 28 points and Oubre had 21, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Pelicans, who were led by Williamson’s 24 points.
The Suns had a chance to tie the game with seconds remaining, but Williamson’s block of Booker’s layup attempt iced the victory for the Pelicans.
It was a disappointing loss for the Suns, who are now 2-2 on the season. But Williamson’s 360 windmill will be a highlight that Suns fans will remember for a long time.
