UNITED Utilities have confirmed that water tankers spotted on Bury New Road are dealing with “supply issues”.
The water tankers, which are station in Whitefield outside the fire station have been deployed to correct water pressure issues in the area.
They are pumping water into the system manually due to “supply issues”.
A United Utilities spokesperson confirmed that the company are “working to resolve” the issue and that residents can expect to see the number of lorries reduce in the coming days.
The spokesperson could not confirm the reason for the supply issues.
Residents who have experiences issues with water pressure in their homes should see an improvement as more water is pumped into the system.
