Warriors’ Curry won’t return vs. Pacers after injuring left shoulder

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry left Wednesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers holding his left shoulder and will not return, per the team.

The 34-year-old had 38 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes before he exited the contest.

Curry is averaging 29.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 25 games for the Warriors this season, who have gotten off to a slow start in their title defence.

Coming into Wednesday night, Golden State held a 14-14 record and sat in 10th place in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a six-game road trip and are next scheduled to play on Friday night against the Philadelphia 76ers. Golden State visits the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
