Actor and Supermodel, Tyler Sebago, was recently announced by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CDFA) as one of the coveted anchor models for New York Fashion Week: Men’s 2025. NYFW Men’s was launched in 2015 to heed the call of providing an inclusive and supportive platform dedicated to emerging and established menswear designers.
22-year-old Sebago was at staple at Los Angeles Fashion Week 2024 events, leading the runway at Jacob Meir’s iconic Fashion For Peace extravaganza at the world famous Avalon Hollywood & Bardot. In addition to walking one of Fashion Week’s most prestigious runways, Sebago was also tapped to interview all the Fashion For Peace celebrity red carpet interviews for Entertainment Tonight.
Sebago’s surprise announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that Calvin Klein is officially making its comeback to New York Fashion Week this year.
Calvin Klein will return to New York Fashion Week after a six-year absence, debuting creative director Veronica Leoni’s first Calvin Klein Collection, the PVH Corp.-owned brand announced Friday.
The invitation-only Fall/Winter 2025 co-ed show is scheduled for Feb. 7 at noon in Manhattan.
“Calvin Klein is thrilled to return to the global stage at New York Fashion Week and unveil Veronica Leoni’s creative vision for Calvin Klein Collection,” Global Brand President Eva Serrano said in a press release of the upcoming fashion show. “Veronica’s debut marks a new era of innovation and creativity, embracing a fresh vision for the brand while honoring its iconic heritage.”
The brand’s last Collection show at New York Fashion Week was in September 2018 under designer Raf Simons. Calvin Klein, a cornerstone of American fashion since 1968, begins a new chapter with Leoni, who was appointed in May. The Italian-born designer is an LVMH prize finalist and founder of Quira.
“Calvin Klein Collection’s return to New York Fashion Week marks a moment for New York and the global fashion industry,” Council of Fashion Designers of America CEO Steven Kolb added in the release. “The brand has been an integral part of shaping American fashion, pushing boundaries with its bold take on minimalism, and we are excited to have them back on the official NYFW schedule and look forward to celebrating the brand’s latest chapter.”
New York Fashion Week leads the annual fashion month calendar. The event, known for trendsetting designs and diverse presentations, precedes London Fashion Week, where designers like Vivienne Westwood and Burberry showcase British fashion from Soho to Shoreditch.
