With free agency starting to get going, a number of big name MLB free agents are on the market.
These are not just superstars, but they have the potential to turn fringe playoff teams into World Series contenders.
Here is a look at the two most intriguing ones this offseason.
It isn’t necessarily clear where these players will sign, but they will certainly make a difference wherever they go.
2. Aaron Judge
This may be the biggest name this offseason as Aaron Judge is coming off a record-setting season.
The 6-foot-7 right fielder slugged an American League record 62 home runs, while hitting .311 and winning the MVP award.

This all came after he declined the Yankees contract extension last offseason and bet on himself.
It paid off, as he is expected to have a big payday heading his way.
However, nobody really knows what team it will be with.
While the Yankees are looking to bring him back, Judge appears to be testing the market.
The San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the New York Mets appear to be lurking.
Any of these teams would love to have Judge, and he could make a major difference for any of them.
If the Yankees fail to make the right offer, his free agency race could get very interesting.
1. Trea Turner
Trea Turner may be one of the most underrated players in baseball.
The speedster has played consistently throughout his career, becoming a perennial All-Star.
This past season, he slugged 21 home runs and stole 27 bases, proving to be one of the best two-way threats in the sport.

Now, as he enters free agency, there are a number of potential landing spots for the shortstop.
The Philadelphia Phillies have been closely tied to Turner, and could be a big addition for the World Series runner-ups.
The Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, and even the Baltimore Orioles have also had their names brought up.
With this in mind, Turner could be one of the most sought after players on the market.
