Portugal vs. Switzerland live updates: Ronaldo not in starting lineup

1:00 | Ronaldo finally gets involved and he has a chance to shoot but he wildy scuffs his effort well wide.

1:15 | Switzerland take the lead! Breel Embolo capitalises on some poor Portuguese defending to fire past Rui Patrício in the Portuguese goal.

1:30 | Portugal are struggling to create anything of note at the moment and Switzerland look content to sit back and hit them on the break.

1:45 | Half-time arrives and it’s Switzerland who lead thanks to that Breel Embolo goal. Portugal will need to up their game in the second half if they’re to avoid an upset.
