Paul Pogba sends Liverpool message to Manchester United after Mohamed Salah ‘fixated’ claim

Your Liverpool evening headlines for Friday, March 25.

Pogba has just told United why they’re so far behind Liverpool

The majority of Jurgen Klopp’s players are currently representing their countries on international duty. All is quiet on Merseyside as each member of the Liverpool squad focuses on delivering at the business end of the season.

It is more than can be said for some other clubs, who tend to suffer from comments made by their players during international breaks. Transfers rumors can emerge, and players can express thoughts about their unhappy situations.

Barcelona ‘fixated’ with Mohamed Salah transfer

Barcelona boss Xavi is ‘fixated’ on bringing Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to the Nou Camp next season as his contract saga with the Reds rumbles on. Salah is fast approaching the final year of his contract and could leave for a cut-price deal if he can not agree terms with Liverpool.

Unsurprisingly, many clubs are after the services of Salah after the Egyptian has already hit 20 goals for Liverpool in the Premier League this season. Liverpool are fighting on all fronts still and much of this success is down to the form the Reds number 11 has shown.

Liverpool have a choice to make, either give in to Salah’s wishes and pay him what he wants or sell him for a cut price fee this summer or let him leave for nothing – and possibly to a rival – in the summer of 2023.
