TIME is running out for parents to submit their applications to children starting school in September 2022.
Applications close at midnight on Saturday (January 15), and parents hoping to be offered a place in elementary school, first, infant, middle school and middle school in September must apply before the deadline.
Parents and carers are able to log on to the website at any time during the day or night, which means that last minute changes are possible until midnight on the closing day.
Worcestershire County Council Cabinet Education Officer Marcus Hart said: “It’s a big step for young people starting school or moving to a new school. Our team works hard every year to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. possible, but it is important that the application deadline is met.
“Every child who has applied for a place over the last few years has been offered one, and we’re really proud of how many people are going to go to their first-choice school. To make sure this continues, we want to remind parents to try to apply as early as possible and make sure the deadlines for admission are met to avoid missing out on a 2022 place. “
