This is my answer.” Netflix has unveiled an official trailer for their next Korean action thriller series titled Mercy For None, ready for streaming in June in a few weeks. Between Disney+ and Netflix, they’ve been developing tons of Korean series and films of all kinds, mostly focusing on really intense action stories since they’re the most successful in Korea. After severing ties with his gang, a former gangster returns to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death — embarking on a relentless path of revenge. Without compromise or regret, Mercy For None takes viewers on a chilling path of vengeance, redefining the world of cold-blooded, intense noir action. Netflix’s new Mercy For None series stars So Ji-sub, marking his return to a powerful action piece after 13 years away. Along with Huh Joon-ho, Gong Myoung, Choo Young Woo, An Kil-kang, Tiger Lee, Cho Han-cheul, as well as special appearances by Cha Seung Won & Lee Jun-hyuk. Oh yeah this looks pretty badass! The series follows Ki-jun (So Ji-sub), a former underworld figure who severed his own Achilles tendon to leave that life behind 11 years ago. When his brother Ki-seok (Lee Jun-hyuk), once the second-in-command of their organization, is found dead, Ki-jun returns to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death. The teaser keyart immediately draws attention with Ki-jun standing alone amidst fallen figures in a narrow alley, bloodstains marking the fierce battle he fought single-handedly against his enemies. Mercy For None, originally known as 광장 in Korean, is a series created and written by Kyun Tae Kim, adapted from the webtoon by Oh Se Hyung. The series is directed by Korean filmmaker Choi Sung-eun, director of the film Little Sister previously. Netflix will releae the Mercy For None Korean action thriller series streaming on Netflix worldwide starting on June 6th, 2025 coming soon this summer. Anyone want to watch this one?
