Look out, London, Nick Clegg’s on his way back. Yesterday it was reported in the Financial Times that the former deputy prime minister — now president of global affairs at Meta — will split his time between homes in the UK and California.
He’s not the only one from the company formerly known as Facebook heading to British shores. Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, owned by Meta, is planning to come to London, having spent some time working remotely from Hawaii, Los Angeles and Cape Cod. Alex Schultz, Meta’s chief marketing officer, also moved to the UK this year.
And there’s an exodus of Meta execs swapping Silicon Valley for other locations too. Naomi Gleit, Meta’s head of product, has moved to fashionable Brooklyn.
