The new Silver Line extension on Washington, D.C.’s Metro rail service now is open and can bring passengers directly to Dulles International Airport, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority announced Tuesday. The extension includes six new stations between Reston, Va., and eastern Loudoun County. The line operates daily during regular Metro hours, according to the authority, with trains every 10 minutes during rush hour, every 15 minutes during late-night hours, and every 12 minutes in between. The price will vary from $2 to $6 depending on the time of day and the distance traveled between stations.
