Motorcyclist dies after ‘serious’ crash in Harlow – recap

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Harlow. Earlier today (Sunday, April 3), Essex Police received reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Elizabeth Way – to the north of the town.

The force later confirmed that the motorcycle rider, a man in his 30s, died at the scene. The road has been shut for several hours.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “Our officers were called at 11am today (Sunday, April 3) to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Elizabeth Way. Sadly the motorcycle rider, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.

“The road is closed and is likely to remain closed until this evening. Our inquiries are ongoing, and we need anyone who saw anything or has dash-cam footage to contact us.”
