Mariah Carey To Perform at the “2023 Billboard Music Awards”

Her season is here! Mariah Carey is returning to the Billboard Music Awards to perform, and we sure hope “All I Want For Christmas,” is on the lineup.

The Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey was revealed by dick Clark productions as a performer for the “2023 Billboard Music Awards” (BBMAs). She will take the stage for a festive Aspen-inspired performance of “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” marking the first time in history the iconic holiday hit single has ever been performed on an awards show. Mariah Carey joins previously announced performers David Guetta, Bebe Rexha, Karol G, NewJeans, Morgan Wallen, Peso Pluma, and Stray Kids. The eighth and final performer for the “2023 Billboard Music Awards” will be announced tomorrow morning at 8:30 am PT.

Mariah Carey is currently on her Merry Christmas One and All! tour and will wrap on December 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Mariah Carey holds the record for the artist with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (91), artist with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart (91), and female songwriter with the most Hot 100 No. 1 hits (18). Mariah Carey is also the only artist to send her first five singles to No. 1 on the Hot 100. Did you know, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” has climbed to No. 1 on the Hot 100 every year since 2019, and as of November 2023, has spent 12 total weeks at No. 1. It’s only the second holiday song to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100, after “The Chipmunk Song” in 1958.
