Studio apartments, especially those in London, are always quite tight, but a special list has attracted the anger of Londoners after it showed a single bed attached to the kitchen worktop and sink.
It was first seen on Zoopla by Twitter user Lieke, who then put the room at £ 390, which describes itself as a “bed room located in a large Victorian house”, on social media.
Lieke wrote the caption to the photo: “Randomly looking for apartments on Zoopla for no reason, and I came across this. London accommodation is such a joke.”

The studio apartment has its own kitchen, but a shared bathroom, according to the ad.
It adds that the ‘compact’ room has a single bed, a wardrobe and is superbly located between West Kensington and Baron’s Court stations.
Despite the fact that it was first built in November last year, the apartment, which also has a minimum 6-month lease, has had a hard time attracting tenants.
The list explains how the property is aimed at students and professionals, with bonuses on street parking and several different shops, gyms and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
It also states that the apartment is ‘easily accessible’ from the M4, A40, A4 and Heathrow Airport.
The apartment’s kitchen consists of cupboards and a work surface as well as an oven, electric hob, microwave and sink.
The photographs on the list show the sparsely decorated room with the bed filling a narrow corridor with the dated kitchen units next to it.
A chair placed next to the bed seems comical to suggest that it can serve as a table to eat from.
Lieke joked on Twitter that she had seen ‘prison cells bigger’ than the crooked room.
