Live: Crab van crushes road closure sign and smashes into wall

A Cornish Crab Company van crashed into a wall, crushing a road closure sign in its path this afternoon (Friday 19 July). The accident happened on the A39 at St Kew Highway, just north of Wadebridge.

Photos from the scene show a wrecked van stuck on the side of the road. The Cornish Crab Company van apparently crashed into a road closure sign before hitting the wall.




An eyewitness told CornwallLive the accident happened near the golf club. He said: “A39 Kew St next to the golf club.”

No one was reported injured in the crash. Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
