Perry turns 40 on October 25. The Super Bowl halftime show performer also shared a short video of the Lord of the Rings star, 47, wakeboarding.
She posed for a selfie in front of the mirror in a black and white plaid bikini in one photo and in a strapless magenta and white one-piece in another shot where she happily jumps out of the water.

The I Kissed a Girl singer also shared a photo of herself signing copies of her new single Women’s World.
The Grammy nominee released her latest single, which was controversially co-produced by Dr. Luke, who Kesha accused of sexual assault and rape.
The super producer, whose real name is Łukasz Gottwald, has denied all the allegations, including Kesha’s claim that he raped Katy – an accusation the Swish Swish singer has also denied.
Katy has previously worked with the 50-year-old music producer on his singles I Kissed A Girl and Teenage Dream, among others.
“She understands it’s controversial working with Dr Luke again, but they work so well together and have such a rapport that she knows him in a different way than others might,” a source told DailyMail.com.
“Her relationship with Dr. Luke is important,” the source continued. “So working with him again is not something that bothers her, even though a lot of fans do.”
She added: “She’s scared because today’s music world can be fickle, with artists here one minute and gone the next – but she’s thrived before.”
Perry’s team also advised her to stay away from the controversial producer, but Katy ignored their advice.
And now the Teenage Dream singer is facing criticism for working with the producer on her song, which was supposed to be her comeback single.
However, the song has fallen down the US iTunes chart since entering the top 10 upon its release on Thursday, July 11.
As of this writing, Woman’s World has exited the Billboard Hot 100 chart and sits at number 193 on the US iTunes chart.
