Guns N ‘Roses shares official lyrics for the new song’ Hard Skool ‘
FAVOR A ROSES has released the official lyrics video for his new song “Hard school”. Written by the singer Axel Rose and co-produced by Rose and Caram Costanzo, the number that had the working title “Jackie Chan”, was originally recorded under GN’R‘s “Chinese democracy” era, but was eventually omitted from that album. Short clips of the song were later posted online, and a full version was leaked in August 2019. Recently, the partially reunited classic lineup of FAVOR A ROSES rehearsed the number during the sound check at several concerts on the band’s summer tour 2021.
Rumors of the new song’s forthcoming release began circulating in early September, after a fan was reportedly told about it by Rose when they met backstage at a recent show in Atlantic City.
On “Hard school”, Axl sings: “But you should play it cool, should do it your way / should be a fool, should throw it all away / Too hard school and you thought you had come to stay / If it were true, it would not matter anyway.”
“Hard school” is the title number of a new one FAVOR A ROSES EP with four songs, which will be released on February 25, 2022. The effort, which is exclusive to FAVOR A ROSES official store, contains the two new songs that the band released in August and September – “Hard school” and “Absurd” (stylized as “ABSUЯD”) – as well as live versions of “Do not Cry” and “You’re crazy”.

FAVOR A ROSES performed “Hard school” live for the first time during the Sept. 26 concert at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
“This is something with lower education,” Rose told the audience before launching onto the pitch.
“Absurd”, a reworked version of a previously unreleased issue called “Silkworm”, was released on August 6, three days after the band performed the tune live for the first time during their concert at Boston’s Fenway Park.
FAVOR A ROSES last performed “Silkworm”, which was also reportedly signed “Chinese democracy” sessions in 2001.
The band is now said to be working on a new studio album – the first under VÅN banner page “Chinese democracy” and the first with Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan since 1993.
