FIFA World Cup 2022 LIVE scores, results: Day three, kick-off times, highlights | Argentina vs Saudi Arabia

This is quite incredible, and while this one was probably the most offside of the lot, it’s rare you see a team put the ball in the back of the net three times in 20 odd minutes and come away with no goals.

The Saudis are going to live and die with this offside trap and so far it’s working a treat for the most part – but can they get up the other end and score?

Their fans think so! Again, it’s surprising in the sense that you would expect a team like Argentina, particularly with the high number of neutral fans likely to support them, to be the team being more loudly cheered, but that’s not the case.

Any touch of the ball for the Green Falcons past the halfway line is dwarfing the noise of an Argentinian attack, even the goal.
