Derek Carr

Derek Carr is an American football quarterback who is currently playing for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Raiders in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State, where he was the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2013.

During his second season in the NFL, Carr helped lead the Raiders to their first winning record in 14 years and was named a Pro Bowl alternate. In 2016, Carr was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player by the Associated Press after leading the Raiders to a 12-4 record and the AFC West division title.
