Coco Gauff wins US Open to secure her first Grand Slam title

Coco Gauff has finally won her first Grand Slam.

After dropping the first set of the U.S. Open final to Aryna Sabalenka, the 19-year-old American rallied for a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory to claim the women’s singles title in Flushing.

She is the 10th teen in tournament history to win the U.S. Open, and the youngest to win the tournament since Serena Willams did so in 1999 at 17 years old.
