Blenheim House Construction applies for administration

The building and development specialist, which operates in the high-end London and Greater South East market, employs around 80 people.

The latest accounts for the year to April 2023 showed turnover up 28% to £87m with a small loss of £137,000.

Since then, Blenheim House has reportedly faced cash flow problems that have left it unable to pay some key subcontractors.

These are said to be late payments from a client, who was himself impacted by the disappearance of Henry Projects.

Blenheim’s problems began to worsen last week when London-based drywall and partitioning contractor Radius Construction filed a winding-up petition against the company to recover money owed to it.

Blenheim House is currently working on several projects, including the modernisation and expansion of workspaces at the former Barratts chocolate factory in Wood Green, north London, for Workspace Group.
