Fried chicken shop Bonehead has announced its reopening date. The much loved eatery, which has been delivery only since it closed back in March 2020, is set to reopen its Lower Severn Street premises on Thursday, April 21st.
Customers could still get a taste of Bonehead fare, including big burgers, wings, strips, waffle fries and Tots via Uber Eats, but the reopening of the physical premises has got customers excited.
The restaurant closed during the first Coronavirus lockdown and did not reopen when restrictions lifted. So when the restaurant took to social media to tell fans it was planning a comeback, it sparked some real enthusiastic comments.

Bonehead teased the reopening in March, sharing a photograph of a decadent looking apple pie with the caption: “We are gearing up to OPEN next month which means MENU TESTING! Who would devour this delicious bad boy of an Apple Pie?”
The chicken shop originally opened in March 2018 and our food reviewer gave it a glowing five star write-up, describing the burger as ‘a source of gastronomic ecstasy’. You can find it at 8 Lower Severn Street, B1 1PU .
