Billy Joel and his wife Alexis Roderick were seen out in public for seemingly the first time in years on Sunday.
The 73-year-old piano man and his wife, who is three decades his junior, were spotted while taking an evening walk in the Hamptons in New York.
Although the legendary singer-songwriter has continued performing in recent years, he is rarely seen off the stage.

The lovebirds were dressed casually for a relaxing day out.
Billy opted for a plain royal blue T-shirt, which he paired with navy shorts and matching slip-on sneakers.
He sported a silver wristwatch and blocked out the setting sun with a gray baseball cap and tortoiseshell sunglasses.
Alexis sported similar chunky sunglasses, along with a pink T-shirt and cut-off jean shorts with dangling strands.

Family: Alexa wore a pink T-shirt and cut-off jeans. They married in 2015 and share daughters Della, six, and Remy, four
She completed the relaxed look with off-white slip-on sneakers, and she wore her blond hair tied back in a high bun.
Alexis also carried a large paper bag in one hand, possibly with groceries or a takeout meal for dinner.
Billy and Alexis married in 2015 in a surprise ceremony held at their annual Fourth of July party at his enormous Long Island estate.
Alexis, a former Morgan Stanley executive and an equestrian, has dated the singer-songwriter since 2009.
In 2015, the couple welcomed their daughter Della, now six, and another daughter named Remy, now four, followed in 2017.
Billy already shares his 36-year-old daughter Alexa with his ex-wife Christie Brinkley, whom he was married to from 1985 to 1994.
Although he is rarely seen off stage, Joel’s fans were able to see him perform his timeless classics as recently as July 20, when he performed as part of his monthly residency at Madison Square Garden.

The hitmaker has been performing at the iconic indoor arena on a monthly basis since 2014, and he has previously said he plans to keep doing regular shows in the enormous venue as long as his fans are buying tickets.
Joel recently scheduled a performance on December 19 at MSG, which will mark his 86th show as part of his ongoing residency and his 132nd show ever at the venue, according to JamBase.
Citi cardmembers can currently buy tickets on presale through August 11 at 10 pm ET, and a general ticket sale will begin on August 12 at 10 am ET.
Joel has become strictly a greatest-hits act in recent decades, as he hasn’t released a new studio album since 1993’s River Of Dreams.
In a 2019 interview with Rolling Stone, the singer admitted, ‘I’ve gone onstage and said, “I don’t have anything new for you, so we’re just going to play the old s***. And the audience goes, “Yeah!”‘
He also suggested he could continue filling up MSG because of how few musical superstars of his generation are still kicking.
‘I’ll be sitting in the stadium looking out at 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 people, thinking, “What the hell are they all doing here? Why now?” I guess, in a way, I’m an anachronism. There aren’t that many of me left. There’s a rarity to it, which gives it value.’
Not stopping: Despite not releasing a studio album since 1993, he has had a monthly residency at MSG since 2014, with dates scheduled through December 2022; seen in February in NYC
