A major police operation initiated by the Birmingham East Neighborhood Task Force has resulted in five cars being seized in the city. PC Galley was in contact with Interpol and police in the Czech Republic to check on a stolen Audi and its discovery at Ladywood Middleway led to four other vehicles being recovered.
Officers tweeted at 12.46am today: “After some serious system checking the Audi was located on Ladywood Middleway. Vehicle sent for forensics.”
While at the scene of the stolen vehicle, four further vehicles – which included a Range Rover – were found. A further tweet explained: “Officers have located a further four vehicles. These have now been recovered and also sent for forensics. Specialist recovery unit was used to ensure vehicles were not damaged.”
