Appeal after sexual assaults at Birmingham New Street

A WITNESS appeal has been launched following a series of sexual assaults at Birmingham New Street station.

A man is reported to have walked around the station and touched several women and a man inappropriately, the British Transport Police said.

It happened between 8.30pm and 9.10pm on Saturday March 12 on the station’s concourse, platform one and the Blue Lounge.

The British Transport Police have released images of man they believe could help them with the investigation.

They would also like to speak to anyone who was at the location at the time that may have witnessed any of the incidents.

Anyone who recognizes the man or witnessed the incidents is asked to contact the British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 676 of 12/03/22.
