2024 Republican candidates, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, were in Des Moines, Iowa, Friday for a Thanksgiving Family Forum hosted by the influential evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats.
