2 thoughts after the Dallas Mavericks suffer an inexcusable loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, 106-105

The Dallas Mavericks had a chance to put the Milwaukee Bucks away on Tuesday night, but they let a golden opportunity slip through their fingers in a 106-105 loss.

This was a game the Mavericks should have won. They were up by 14 points in the fourth quarter and they let the Bucks come all the way back to steal the victory.

What went wrong for the Mavericks?

For one, they couldn’t close the deal. The Mavericks have been notorious for blowing leads this season and they did it again against the Bucks.

Secondly, the Mavericks didn’t have an answer for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks superstar was simply too much for Dallas, as he finished with 27 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

The Mavericks have now lost four games in a row and they are in danger of falling out of the playoff race in the Western Conference. This was a disappointing loss and the Mavericks will need to figure things out quickly if they want to turn their season around.
